Solving the Palm Oil Problem?
Fair, Organic & Sustainable Palm Oil
Is solving the palm oil problem even possible? One approach I found, besides simply avoiding or boycotting it, is Organic and Fair Trade Palm Oil, which might turn out as the most sustainable solution we currently have – for the environment as well as for populations, who depend on palm oil production like in Malaysia, Indonesia or South and Central America.
Palm Oil is not only something you might encounter when you travel in far away countries, but it is actually something, we find ourselves confronted with in every day life. Avoiding it is hard in general, but boycotting palm oil may end up hurting not only industries but also people who depend on them for making their living.
I have made a video about my opinion and what I found. Watch the Video here and finde the sources down below ⤵
